good foods

Another thing that is good for the environment is buying organic foods. You buy them at almost every grocery store. It's good because it has to pesticides on it that can hurt you and the Earth. One store that sells organic foods is Whole Foods. It's a very good store.

Lawnmower

In the spring and summer your lawn gets very long. You probably have a gas powered lawnmower, but another great alternative is a hand powered lawnmower. A hand powered lawnmower is also less expensive than a gas powered one and it doesn't produce any co2.

Bike or Walk

Now that spring is here it's much nicer outside, so it's perfect to bike or walk to somewhere close to your house with your parents instead of using a car.
Cold
During the winter when you are cold you can put on a sweatshirt or get under a blanket instead of turning the heat up. During the summer there are lots of ways to cool down without that much air conditioning, like you could put on a tank top or you could cool down with a little bit of cool water. Another great way is to use a fan to cool down.

Inventions

Another good way to recycle is to turn recycled objects into other toys and things. Like old bottles could be a jet pack what can you make out of your recycled objects?
CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK
For this challenge of the week I want you to try and reduce a gallon of water.

 Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
The best thing to do with old recyclable   things you have lying about is to first try to reuse them. If you can't reuse them then recycle it. The most important thing to remember is to reduce your trash. Another good thing to do to save electricity is to shut off the lights when you don't need them, don't leave chargers plugged in when something is done charging, and don't use unnecessary electric objects. A good way to save water is don't leave the water on when you are brushing your teeth, and  take shorter showers.
